COLONIE – Earl B. Feiden, a family-run home appliance retailer, has expanded its Latham headquarters with the addition of a new appliance “experience center”, factory outlet and distribution center.

The Colonie Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning to celebrate the 97-year-old company’s growth, which includes tripling its warehouse space on Route 9.

Customers are encouraged to visit the site’s “experience center” where they can interact with appliances, be inspired by bespoke displays that mimic kitchens and see first-hand how products would work in their homes.

“By working with builders and homeowners over the last several years, supply chain disruptions and pricing pressures have made it clear that we need to have a greater volume and variety of equipment onsite here,” said Mary Feiden, third-generation owner of Earl B .enemies. “We knew that adding the experience center, branch and distribution center to our guaranteed lowest prices and quality service would really benefit the community.”

A new store is a major draw for the company’s growth, offering branded devices at below wholesale prices. Both the store and the additional warehouse space will allow the retailer to capitalize on volume buying and stock thousands of new devices for customers of all budgets.

In addition to its Latham location, Earl B. Feiden has showrooms in Clifton Park and Kingston. The company employs 100 people and also offers repair, delivery and installment services.
