Once you reach level 50 diablo 4, you can take on the Capstone Dungeon and unlock World Tier 3 and Nightmare difficulty levels. Here you get access to all endgame content distributed in Sanctuary. One of the most important endgame features of diablo 4 revolves around the Tree of Whispers and completing bounties for the tree in certain areas of the map.

How the Tree of Whispers works in Diablo 4’s endgame

Once you reach World Level 3 you can talk to the Tree of Whispers and it will make a deal with you to silence Whispers in exchange for bountiful rewards.

These whispers take the form of various types of events on the map, including:

  • clear basement
  • Defeat Whisper affected dungeons (which have a red icon)
  • Whisper Affected Events
  • world events
  • world bosses

Completing Whisper-based content rewards you with a currency called Grim Favors. Once you have a total of 10 Grim Favors, you must return to the Tree of Whispers to exchange them for a reward. You have a choice of a few different caches related to a specific gear type, e.g. B. a helm cache or a ring cache.

Once you’ve obtained a cache, you’ll find it in your inventory and can open it to get a bunch of goodies. This includes a few cache-type pieces of gear (often including a Legendary or two), as well as a range of useful crafting materials, and sometimes Nightmare Dungeon Seals.

Completing Tree of Whispers content is a great way to create open world content and build up some nice gear to get stronger as world tier 3 has a significant jump in difficulty compared to world tier 2. You’ll want to replace just about anything. Expand the gear you have with new World Tier 3 gear, especially if you find Sacred Rares, Legendaries, or Uniques relevant to your build.

That’s all about how the Tree of Whispers works in the endgame of diablo 4. This is excellent content that you can use to prepare yourself after you reach level 50 and enter World Tier 3! If you need more advice on how to beat Diablo 4, be sure to check out our full guides.
