ATLANTA—Representatives of the former Banyan Tree Management announced that the company has relaunched as Aperture Hotels. The new company will continue to provide hotel management services, but with a view to expanding its portfolio of third-party management and possible mergers and acquisitions of management companies.

“In the past, we have been viewed almost exclusively as an extension of the Banyan Investment Group that only services its portfolio,” said Charles Oswald, President and CEO of Aperture Hotels. “However, the truth is that we are actively and eagerly offering third-party operational services to all hotel owners, and we believe restarting as a standalone entity helps make that clear. We have assembled a senior team with collective experience of operating over 400 hotels across all chain sizes, from select service to premium lifestyle, and we look forward to using that experience to help more owners create a Delivering superior guest experience, team member engagement and more improved bottom lines.”

Aperture currently operates more than 2,000 rooms in 15 hotels and resorts. The Company’s portfolio consists of branded and independent properties in urban, suburban and recreational destination markets throughout the United States. With more than 500 employees across its portfolio, Aperture has experience operating all brands including Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Choice and Wyndham.

“Aperture is a one-stop solution for owners seeking services throughout the ownership cycle, from pre-opening to eventual sale,” added Oswald. “Our experienced team has delivered these services through multiple economic cycles, from industry highs to industry lows. We have a proven track record of adding value through portfolio-wide market share gains, above average gross operating margins, rapid property conversions and dedicated team members delivering superior returns to our partners and investors. With good prospects for the hotels to come, we look forward to growing with the industry.”
