Beeville City Council awards nearly $700,000 for re-roofing projects | Beeville Bee-Picayune

The Beeville City Council awarded Cram Roofing Co. of San Antonio a $699,720 bid to complete the re-roof projects at the Fire Station, John C. Fulghum Events Center, Moore Street Wastewater Treatment Plant administration building and Street Department Office and Employee Locker Room Facility. 

The action was one of many discussed during their regular meeting earlier this evening. 

Here are some of the highlights of tonight’s meeting:

  • Cram Roofing was awarded a $699,720 bid for re-roof projects at the Fire Station, John C. Fulghum Events Center, Moore Street Wastewater Treatment Plant administration building and Street Department Office and Employee Locker Room Facility. 

  • The City Council watched a presentation on and discussed the possibility of adopting and utilizing Online Inspection Scheduling and Virtual Inspection software.  

  • Overnight camping will be allowed on March 30-31 for Easter Weekend and on May 4-5 for the Annual South Texas Shootout Disc Golf Tournament. 

  • The council discussed the possibility of placing a four-way stop sign at the intersection of N. Adams and Clare Streets.

  • City Manager John Benson gave an update on some of the plans to rectify the Community Homeless Issue.
