With a few more days of freezing temperatures, Abacus Plumbing stopped by with a few tips on preventing and protecting frozen pipes.

Here’s what you can do

Turn on the faucet

Apply heat to the frozen area

Continue to apply heat

Check all faucets and prevent pipes from freezing in the future
Remember, it could take 30 minutes for pipes to thaw depending on how cold it is.
