Gateway Summary: In his first career start at World Wide Technology Raceway, Bayley Currey finished fifth in practice and eleventh in qualifying. Currey ran just outside the top 10 for most of the Toyota 200 before finally finishing 16th.

Currey on the last race at World Wide Technology Raceway: “It was my first start in Gateway. Getting out there and doing fast laps in practice and qualifying definitely helped my confidence. We kept learning throughout the race and felt like we were in a good position until a late error. Overall we had a really fast Unishippers Silverado and I am very thankful for opportunities like this.”

Currey at Nashville Superspeedway: On Friday night, Currey will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Nashville Superspeedway. However, Currey competed in both 2021 and 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series events, finishing 30th and 31st, respectively.

Currey on Friday’s race at Nashville Superspeedway: “I’m going to Nashville, much like I did at Gateway. It will be my first time racing in the Truck Series there, so it will definitely be a learning curve. I’ve got a couple of Xfinity Series starts there and I’m hoping to use what I know from those races to be in a good position for Friday night.”

On the truck: Currey’s No. 41 Unishippers Chevrolet Silverado will compete with the support of the WWEX brand group, which includes Worldwide Express, Unishippers and GlobalTranz, providing comprehensive logistics expertise to more than 115,000 customers across the country.
