Events around the globe will promote the link between good plumbing sanitation and human and environmental health.

Celebrated around the globe, World Plumbing Day was founded in 2010 by the World Plumbing Council (WPC) to recognize the vital role of plumbing and the link between good quality plumbing and the health, environmental sustainability and, increasingly, economic prosperity of societies around the world.

There are now hundreds of annual World Plumbing Day events, promoting the link between good plumbing sanitation and human and environmental health.

In Canada, the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) invites people across the country to participate in its World Plumbing Day T-Shirt Program.

Industry members are invited to purchase shirts to share with colleagues and wear when hosting a special event for your customers or community on March 11th, or when educating students at a local school or when fundraising or donating to a relevant charity.

For this industry everyday is Plumbing Day. But on March 11th, take a moment to soak in the global recognition of plumbing as an essential service for humanity around the world.
