In just a few weeks, the mile high city will be dressed in holiday spirit with the inaugural ‘Tree of Giving’ event and one local business that’s been around for 40 years is hosting!
Here’s some background info, ‘Time Plumbing, Heating & Electric’ installed a 154 foot tall flag pole on west 6th avenue back in 2015, the tallest flag in Colorado.
This year, that exact flag pole with be transformed into a Christmas tree to celebrate the season for a good cause.
GDC spoke with owner of Time Plumbing, Heating & Electric, Brad Apple, about the mission behind the event this holiday season.
The Tree of Giving charity event is happening on November 10th and 11th from 3 to 7pm at Time Plumbing, Heating & Electric.
The tree lighting will begin Friday right around dusk, there is no need for tickets just come and enjoy the holiday fun.
They are also accepting donations for ‘Dependable Cleaners Coats for Colorado,’ as well as accepting canned food and toys!
