The Chuckey Utility District is reminding customers to make sure your home’s plumbing system is protected with extremely cold temperatures expected this week. If you have any, or know of any, vacant properties, out-buildings, or other structures supplied by water, please keep a check on those as well.
Those in the Chuckey Utility District can report a water leak and/or water outages after hours, please call the emergency number: 636-6905.
Chuckey Utitlity District customers were without water for several days in late December 2022 after extremely cold temperatures around Christmas day resulted in numerous water line breaks.
