  2. Unfortunately, a well-known real estate agent in the metropolitan area on the night of Sunday, April 25 When a thunderstorm caused a tree to fall on him at his home in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. First responders found George Heery Jr., 55, on the Delmont Dr. Northeast was having trouble breathing and attempted CPR, but was unsuccessful. He was immediately taken to Grady EMS where he was unfortunately pronounced dead. Heery was his brother Neal’s partner at Atlanta Fine Homes Southerby’s International Realty. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  3. Nearby Alpharetta has been recognized as a bike-friendly community by the League of American Bicyclists (LAB). – not the first time Alpharetta has received the award. The nonprofit Bike Alpharetta has worked with city officials to ensure the city retains this designation, one of only 12 counties in Georgia recognized by LAB as bike-friendly.
