High school sports fans can vote for which field hockey athletes they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Friday through Thursday. The winners will be announced every Friday along with the new poll.

In the first poll of the season, Anderson came out the winner with 30% of the votes. Anderson dished out two helpers in a 3-0 win over St. John Paul II.

Freshman Cappallo scored three goals and had an assist in a 6-1 win over Nantucket.

Brooke Chicoine, Dennis-Yarmouth

Freshman Chicoine scored both goals in a 2-2 draw with Notre Dame-Hingham.
