Mitchell Roofing & Siding owner pleads guilty to DUI charges

MITCHELL, S.D. (Mitchell Radio Group) – A 44-year-old man from Mount Vernon who received four DUIs in six months pleaded guilty to two of them on Thursday.

Cory Cumings was sentenced to a total of 203 days in jail. According to Mitchell Radio Group, 150 days were suspended, and Cumings was given credit for 30 days served already, so he will serve a total of 23 days. 

Cumings owns Mitchell Roofing and Siding and was granted work release. His license was also revoked for one year. 

Mitchell Radio Group reports that other misdemeanor charges against Cumings in Davison County were dismissed. 

Cumings still faces charges in Aurora County, including three felony drug charges and two misdemeanors, after ATF raided his home and his business in Mitchell in December.
