BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The National Weather Service has reported some strong/minor severe storms along ocean breezes are possible in Brevard County Saturday afternoon.
The main threats are frequent lightning, wind gusts up to 55 to 60 miles per hour, hail up to 1 inch and a possible short tornado.
Saturday night: Chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then slight chance of showers. Mostly clear with a low around 66. SSE winds around 10 mph, westbound after midnight. The chance of precipitation is 30%.
Sunday: 10% chance of showers before 8am. Sunny, peaking near 82. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 65. NE 10 to 15 mph.
Monday; Mostly sunny with a high near 83. ENE winds 10 to 15 mph.
Monday night; Partly cloudy with a low around 66. East around 10 mph.
Tuesday: 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny with a high near 83. East 10 to 15 mph.
Tuesday evening: 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy with a low around 69. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday: 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a height of almost 83. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 20 mph.
