A Cape Coral veteran-owned roofing company wants to help your families keep their bellies full, homes dry, and provide a sense of security this Thanksgiving by gifting residents turkeys and guns.
President Jason Prolly of Roof EZ, 2528 Andalusia Blvd. in Cape Coral, offers customers who replace their roof in November a turkey and an AR-15, saying he’s already heard from dozens of interested buyers.

Why are you offering this kind of special, and why connect it to Thanksgiving?
So we do some sort of promotion every month (or we try to), something to give back to the community.
Last month (October), we donated $200 for every roof sold to Breast Cancer Awareness, and we raised $6,800!!
This month is the Roof & Gobble. So the roof will protect your home, the turkey will bring the family together over a meal, and the AR-15 is to protect that family.
Whose idea was it?
This was a collective idea. I can’t take all the credit, I saw another roofing company in Alabama do this years ago.
Is there a process a customer has to go through before they get their gun?
Yes, so what will happen after the customer’s roof has been completed, we will send their information over to the Shoot Center of Cape Coral, and they will have to follow all the guidelines required to purchase a firearm.
How long will this offer last?
This offer will last throughout the month of November.

The business has been great, we are proud to say that we have given away 18 FREE roofs after the hurricane, to homeowners who didn’t have insurance or FEMA didn’t take care of them and they had nowhere else to turn.
What if the customer does not want a gun?
A $500 credit will be added to their final invoice.
