HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — The city of Harrisburg says the bid for construction on the Broad Street Market’s brick building is finally open to the public.
The city has been looking for an architect for this project since the brick building went up in flames last summer.
The department of facilities is now seeking proposals from qualified professional firms to perform construction management services for the historic brick building.
The McClure Company is currently finishing up the plumbing system for the temporary tent that will host Broad Street Market. They donated a plumbing scope at no cost to the city, and finished their work on the plumbing ahead of schedule so other partners working on the tent could get their operations in motion.
On Pennbid, the city notes this will likely be a multi-year project.
