Managing director of the company William Price said they have been called out to a few emergency jobs to carry out roof repairs.
He said it was not safe to be operating the machine in high wind.
William said they are always kept busy, especially in this kind of weather, with calls about dangerous loose tiles.
WP works as a private and commercial service and has carried out work for the council including emergency repairs carried out on Barrow Island flats.
