Cardinal Spellman’s Emma Pero has been voted the Storm Works Roofing & Restoration High School Girls Athlete of the Week.
The senior received nearly 900 votes (40.9%) to earn the honor. Pero tallied four goals in a 5-1 win over Bishop Stang.

Ali Perry, Sr., Carver: Perry made 21 saves in a 1-0 win over Norwell.
Teagan O’Connor, Fr., East Bridgewater: O’Connor, a goaltender, posted her second shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over Mashpee.
Morgan Bieler, Soph., Nipmuc: Bieler had a goal and two assists as the Warriors earned a 4-1 win over Blackstone-Millville.
Emily Carney + Raena Crandall, Franklin: Carney and Crandall each scored three goals in an 8-0 win over North Attleborough as the Panthers remained unbeaten.
SOCCER
Calice Morton, Sr., East Bridgewater: Morton tallied a hat trick in a 5-2 win over Middleboro.
Olivia Fiorella, Sr., Norwell: Fiorella tallied a hat trick in a 6-0 win over Mashpee.
Makenzie O’Connor, Jr., Stoughton: O’Connor scored two goals, including the winner with a minute remaining, in a 2-1 triumph over Foxboro.
Emilee Dunham, Jr., Rockland: Dunham netted a hat trick in a 5-1 win over Holbrook.
Sophia Foley, Sr., Hanover: Foley scored five goals in a 6-1 win over North Quincy.

Makenna Marshall, Sr., Whitman-Hanson: Marshall had two-goal games in wins over North Quincy and Hingham.
Kathleen Murphy, Jr., Blue Hills: Murphy had a hat trick in a 6-0 win over Bristol-Plymouth.
Elly Thomas, Jr., Hull: Thomas had two goals and an assist in a 3-2 win over Rockland.
Ava Carcio, Cohasset: Carcio scored four goals in a 4-1 victory over East Bridgewater.
Emma Gavin + Sienna Fabrizio, Oliver Ames: In a 6-0 win over North Attleboro, both girls had five-point days.
Kelly O’Connor, Jr., + Anya Zub, Sr., Franklin: O’Connor now has seven goals and four assists on the year while Zub has seven goals and five assists as the Panthers ended the week 6-1 after a 4-1 triumph over Canton.
CROSS COUNTRY
Marshfield quartet: In a 15-48 win over Silver Lake, four Rams took first finishing as a pack in 2045. Ava Brunswick, Eleanor Angeles-Whitfield, Charlotte Perreault and Meredith Miller made up that group.
Margaret Bowles, Sr., Dover-Sherborn: Bowles raced the 3.1-mile course in 19:53 to lead unbeaten D-S (3-0) past Medway.
Rachel Korowski, Sr., Hudson: Korowski lowered the Tyngsborough course record by 13 seconds, winning in 21:41 for the Hawks in a 21-34 team win.
Carmen Luisi, Jr., Holliston: Luisi won her third straight race to start the year, finishing in 19:06 as the Panthers stayed unbeaten (3-0) in a 19-38 win over Westwood.
Alex Batla, Sr., + Fiona Morrison, Jr., Franklin: Batla continues to pace the unbeaten Panthers and Morrison won her first race of the year in an 18-42 win over King Philip.
Elyse Srodawa, Jr., Hopkinton: Srodawa won her third straight dual meet of the year, clocking 18:46 on the 2.9-mile course in a 26-31 win over Medfield.
VOLLEYBALL
Kylie Anderson, Sr., Avon: Anderson helped lead Avon to the first win in program history. She’s averaged 5-6 blocks and 6-7 spikes per set this season. “It is an absolute pleasure having her as a player and captain,” said Avon coach Candida Alves.
Sadie Johnston, Jr., North Quincy: Johnston had 27 assists, 11 digs and 3 kills in a 3-1 win over Whitman-Hanson.
Chloe Zhong, Jr., Braintree: Zhong had 24 assists in a 3-1 loss against Milton.
Quinn Anderson, Sr., Westborough: Anderson had 27 kills and six aces as the Rangers (8-0) stayed unbeaten with a sweep of Shrewsbury.
Abigail Asman + Bella Rand, Srs., AMSA: Rand had 17 kills, six digs and 23 aces and Asman had four kills, seven aces and 23 digs as the Eagles defeated Assabet, 3-2.
Siri Bachina, Jr., + Gabby Van Beek, Soph., Ashland: Bachina had 10 kills, two blocks and two aces and Van Beek had 11 kills and three blocks in a 3-1 win over Dedham.
Ava Cossette, Sr., Tri-County: Cossette the Cougars all around with 21 service points, including a 6-0 run to start the fifth set, to go with six kills and 28 digs in a 3-2 win over Diman Voke.
Kelsey Evans, Sr., + Mia Casey + Phoebe Carroll, Sophs., Hopedale: Evans had 13 kills, three aces and 14 digs, Casey had nine kills, two aces and three blocks and Carroll had six kills, three aces and two digs in a 3-1 win over Ashland.
Kayleigh Fountain + Kate Julian + Dana Schechter, Nipmuc: The sophomore Fountain (8 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces) and senior stalwarts Schechter (17 kills, 7 digs, 3 aces) and Julian (39 assists, 5 kills, 5 digs , 2 aces) keyed the undefeated Warriors (9-0) in a 3-2 win over rival Hopedale.
Addison Murphy + Lauren Shurling + Jennifer Yates, Hudson: The seniors Shurling (11 kills, 15 digs and four aces) and Murphy (30 digs and four aces) and the junior Yates (11 kills, four blocks) keyed a 3-1 win over Wachusett.
