The company – the inventor of innovative solar mounting solutions for metal roofing – has launched its new online training program, S-5-University, designed to teach industry professionals all about metal roofing. The married couple Shawn and Jessica Haddock, both at S-5! busy, developed the new curriculum. Through their interactions with customers and industry professionals, they recognized the need for a single trusted source of reliable information. They worked with the company’s technical team of experts to create a series of step-by-step courses to train individuals and teams from the ground up.
The first series focuses on solar mounting and metal roofing. Participants can enroll in S-5-University through the company website, select different courses, take short tests at the end of each unit and earn certificates upon completion.
The S-5 team! has fine-tuned the lessons to provide individuals with the education needed to become experts in selecting solar, snow, or utility mounting solutions that are right for their projects, while providing installation best practices.
