TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – This is something good from down on the coast!
The Gulf Specimen Marine Lab in Panacea was in major need of a new roof to keep its insurance and stay protected during future storms.
It was facing a $30,000 renovation, but when it asked the community for help, they stepped up!
Johnson Roofing Solutions of Chipley donated and installed a completely new roof!
Now, with the money donated by the community, the lab can rebuild its 30-year-old deck, spruce up its entryway and keep welcoming visitors to its lab and aquarium.
