Noblesville, United States – July 21, 2023 / Roja’s roofer /

Rojas Roofing, a trusted name in the local roofing industry, is proud to announce its participation in the annual Gr8 Paper Push event in partnership with Teachers’ Treasures, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Marion County teachers. The event, scheduled for August 2, 2023, marks the 9th edition of this community-led initiative, which aims to provide local educators with essential school supplies. Rojas Roofing’s participation in the event underscores its commitment to education and giving back to the community.

The Gr8 Paper Push is a remarkable opportunity for local businesses to improve the lives of teachers and students alike. During the event, companies are encouraged to donate materials or donate money to Teachers’ Treasures. The organization operates a unique school supplies “store” where Marion County teachers can shop for free. Teachers can fill their shopping carts with a variety of useful materials for their classroom, ensuring students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

As part of their commitment to the Gr8 Paper Push, Rojas Roofing has launched the Exteriors for Education campaign, which runs from July 15th to August 30th. During this period, Rojas Roofing will donate 1% of purchases from all outdoor projects, including roofing, siding and guttering, to Teachers’ Treasures. In addition, Rojas Roofing will be contributing supplies directly to the Gr8 Paper Push, further supporting the cause.

Rojas Roofing also makes a point of showcasing local teachers and their influential stories. Through his social media channels, Noblesville-based Rojas Roofing will be highlighting select local teachers by sharing their stories and providing a wish-list of items for their classrooms. By putting these dedicated educators in the spotlight, Rojas Roofing hopes to inspire others to get involved and support the educational community. Teachers highlighted include:

  • Rebecca Thill – ESL Instructor at Christel House DORS in Indianapolis
  • Tim Branson – Art teacher at the School for Community Learning in Indianapolis
  • Alexandra Dellinger – Art teacher at Edgewood Elementary in Anderson
  • Sandy Rivera is an elementary school teacher at Mary Castle Elementary in Indianapolis

Community members who wish to contribute to this noble cause can contribute by donating their time or by making direct monetary donations to Teachers’ Treasures. To learn more about ways to donate, please visit the Teachers’ Treasures website at https://www.teacherstreasures.org/ways-to-support.html.

“As a former area teacher, I have used Teachers Treasures for several years to source materials for my classroom. In my new role at Rojas Roofing, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Teachers Treasures to give back to a cause that is so important to me and my colleagues past and present,” said Brenna Shepherd, Managing Director of Rojas Roofing.
