BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service on Sunday calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. Skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 90 with Heat index values as high as 103. Southwest winds will be 5 to 10 mph. Yhe chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
