BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The National Weather Service projects a low chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm are likely after 5 p.m. Skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 87 westbound winds of 5 to 10 mph turning to east-southeast in the afternoon. There is a 60% chance of precipitation – new precipitation amounts are between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, barring thunderstorms, higher amounts are possible.
Thursday night: Chance of showers and possible thunderstorms before 8pm, then chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly between 8pm and 11pm. Mostly cloudy with lows in the 70s. Southeast winds at about 5 mph, blowing southwest after midnight. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts are between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, except during thunderstorms, higher amounts are possible.
