According to a press release, Hillsboro-based Elite Roofing and Construction, LLC has donated labor and significant material savings for the roof of Habitat for Humanity’s current new build in Clinton County in Midland. The company arranged with Willoughby Supply and Owens Corning to donate materials to the project.

“Owner Brandon Troyer approached us interested in contributing to a Habitat home,” said Tom McCain and Tom Matrka, co-chairs of Habitat Construction. “We are always fortunate to have local companies provide services to our cause and Elite’s involvement in this project has been fantastic. You did a wonderful and professional job and so quickly. We would recommend their services to others who need roofing services.”

The current home construction in Midland is Clinton County Habitat’s 46th new home in Clinton County since its inception in 1994, according to the press release.

Adrien and Tonya Ayers and their family will be the “mate family” for the new home. They have already completed the requisite hours of sweat equity work on the home and will be taking out Habitat’s interest-free mortgage once the home is completed in the next few months.
