Dayton roofing company wins $21 million contract for work at Wright-Patterson

Raytheon Co.’s Dayton facility, based in Woburn, Massachusetts, receives a small portion of an $87.5 million contract to support the Deployable Over-the-Horizon Radar at the Forces Surveillance Support Center, Chesapeake, Virginia. the Department of Defense also said Monday.

Work includes software improvements; software re-hosts; Software maintenance, installation and more.

The contract provides for an order period of 48 months without options. The base order period is expected to start in August this year and is expected to be completed in August 2027.

Most of the work will take place in Chesapeake, Virginia, but work is being done in many other locations as well, the Department of Defense said.

Finally, a Richfield, Ohio company, Anthony Allega Cement Contracting Inc., has been awarded a $43.1 million contract for on-demand, nationwide road and site construction services at Wright-Patterson.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is also the source of this contract.
