United Roofing of Colorado was recently welcomed to Heart of the Rockies Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Established in 2014, United Roofing of Colorado is a locally owned and operated small business. Co-owners John Diesslin and Lisa Wood have more than 30 years of combined industry experience. Wood became an owner in 2021. Both are licensed and insured and provide free estimates and consultations in Salida and the surrounding communities.
United Roofing of Colorado specializes in Duro-Last PVC membrane roofing, which is mechanically fastened down. No glue or adhesives are used in this process. Their roofing is Energy Star Rated, meaning it will reflect 88 percent of sun rays, Wood said.
“We are really blessed to have a good reputation in the roofing industry,” she said.
Wood has lived in Chaffee County for five years. She got a job at Diesslin Structures, and after two years the former United Roofing company owner offered her the role.
United Roofing is a certified Duro-Last installer but does not provide services for metal, shingle or tile roofing. The Duro-Last system means there is no loud machinery, hot tar or messes on the job site.
Duro-Last Roofing Systems are serviceable and can easily be repaired without heavy equipment or an entire replacement. United Roofing also does skylights, gutters and downspouts.
