A Botwood company has been charged as the result of a workplace accident two years ago.
A worker was seriously injured after falling from the roof of a home in Botwood in April of 2022.
D.S. Building Contactor Limited is charged with disturbing the scene of an accident, failure to ensure workers were given necessary training, supervision and facilities to ensure their safety, and failure to ensure appropriate fall protection equipment was used.
The company is scheduled to appear in court in Grand Falls-Windsor on May 8.
