BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Bend roofing dealer RoofLine Supply and Delivery is hosting its second annual Fastest Roofer competition Friday at its southeast Bend facility.
The competition pits several local roofing contractors in central Oregon against each other to see who can build a roof the fastest for a cash prize. The prize for first place is $3,000, second place is $2,000, and third place is $1,000.
Pig Out BBQ Catering is also helping to host the event, and will grill a free lunch for attendees that includes two whole pigs, macaroni and potato salads, buns and drinks.
KTVZ’s Blake Mayfield is taking part in the competition and will be giving his report on Five on NewsChannel 21 tonight.
