Plumbing The Depths Dead Island 2 Guide
As soon as I was done The Last Glove, I made my way to Dr. Reed’s office to meet him. On the way to the office, a radio call comes in from the CDC for an update. When I entered his office I met Denise who told me that Dr. Reed wasn’t there.

Denise will also mention that Bob the caretaker went to fix the water supply but hasn’t returned yet. She will then recommend you go downstairs and check if he’s okay.
Exit the office and head toward the mall’s ground floor. Enter the silver and steel jewelry shop and exit through the back door using the keypad reader to unlock the door.
Now I was in a dark rest stop and I resisted the temptation to run in blindly. If I had fallen in, I would have been a victim of the shotgun trap waiting for me inside. Instead, first disable the Shotgun Trap by using the crate stacks on your right. Only then did I go to the caretaker’s room.
In the caretaker’s room there is a “note for Bob,“Read it, then look up to see the safe code document in the overhead pipes. Pick these up. Now go out of the room and towards the stairwell in the hallway. A drooling corpse will lie here, the remains of which are splattered on the wall. I would recommend staying away from the corpse as any contact will set off an explosion.
Go to the end of the corridor. There you will find a door that says “A‘. When you open it you will see a lot of walkers and shamblers, all of which you can eliminate with your weapons. After successfully taking down these creatures, I headed to the large shuttered area where I found a key card reader which I could then use to head down the hillside.
On this route I encountered several zombies that I made sure to kill before continuing on my way. At the very end I found an open fire pipe that marked the end of this road. There will be several zombies here, and after you defeat them all, the previously friendly Janitor will appear.
As I opened the door to my right, I saw Bob, now in zombie form, rush out to kill me. I used my guns to kill Bob. I’ve also made sure to stay away from Bob’s corpse even after he kills him, as he’s now a Shocking Walker and the electrical blasts can do serious damage to me after he dies.

After killing Bob and all the other zombies, I made my way back to the doctor’s office to tell Denise what just happened. Then there is a cutscene where I talk to Dr. Reed about the current problems.
