Plumbing industry body IPA inks MoU with Centre

New Delhi: The Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) will work under an agreement with the government to raise public awareness about water wastage, promote the introduction of water-saving devices and the recovery of used water.

In a statement Monday, the industry association said it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Water Mission (NWM) and the Ministry of Jal Shakti to work on various parameters to reduce water waste and its reuse in Minimize India. NWM is one of eight government missions launched under the National Climate Change Action Plan (NAPCC) to address the threats of global warming, IPA said.
