INDEPENDENCE – Bids are now being sought to replace the plumbing and make other renovations to Grayson County High School, Independence Middle School and the Grayson Agricultural & Technical Education Center.
According to an advertisement seeking sealed bids for the project, bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. on Dec. 5, at which time they will be publicly opened in the school board office.
At the Oct. 9 meeting of the Grayson County School Board, Division Superintendent Kelly Wilmore said that plans are now being drawn up to replace the plumbing in the three buildings.
According to Wilmore, “once proposals are received, we will have a better idea about the cost of the project.”
He said the school system has funds available to pay for the work.
