CHICAGO — Chicago police say a crime spree has been targeting plumbing and electrical businesses in the city for almost the last two months.
CPD says the men in the surveillance video shown in the above clip may be connected to over 20 commercial burglaries, armed robberies and thefts targeting plumbing and electrical businesses since mid-January.

On Tuesday, CPD issued an alert giving notices to plumbing and electrical businesses in five Chicago districts (11th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 25th) of related incidents.
According to police, multiple offenders have forcibly entered businesses and work vehicles by breaking doors and windows to gain access. Once inside, police say, the offenders have removed property, including tools and equipment, and the burglaries have included work vehicles parked at businesses or on residential streets.
Anyone with information on the crimes is urged to contact the CPD Bureau of Detectives-Property Crimes at 312-744-8263 (Area Three), 312-746-8253 (Area Four) or 312-746-7394 (Area Five).
