Red River College Polytechnic Campus Manager in Portage la Prairie Guy Moffat is optimistic that the road closure on 6th Street SE beside the college can be fixed in about a week. However, a timeline hasn’t been determined.
Moffat tells PortageOnline that the plumbing connecting the campus to the city sewer line collapsed, and Cobbe’s Plumbing & Heating was contracted for the job.

The City of Portage la Prairie’s operations department noted that since the plumbing is directly tied to the college, it has nothing to do with the process.
