Planting the right replacement tree in the right spot is key to enjoying your trees and their benefits. Austin Energy offers a variety of replacement trees.
- If a tree has to be removed due to utility work, customers should consult their work plan and contact the Austin Energy representative listed on the work plan to obtain a replacement tree.
- If you are a customer who does not have a work schedule, email Austin Energy Forestry Division or call 512-322-6771 for more information.
Subject to availability, we offer the replacement trees listed below. You can view and print this replacement tree list and other planting information in the Replacement Tree List brochure (PDF).
We offer replacement trees for 5 to 15 gallons, but 5 gallon trees survive best because their root system establishes more easily.
For more information on choosing and planting the right tree in the right spot, see the Native Tree Growing Guide (PDF).
