Fort Worth, Texas – Fort Worth Tree Services, a leading tree care provider in the region, is proud to announce the launch of its Youth Tree Ambassador Program, an initiative aimed at inspiring and educating the next generation of tree enthusiasts. Led by CEO Maranly Larabiosa and her team of certified arborists, the program will train young canopy crusaders to become masters of urban forestry and environmental conservation.

“We recognize the tremendous potential of today’s youth to drive positive change for our environment,” says Maranly Larabiosa. “Our Youth Tree Ambassador Program aims to instill a passion for trees and nature in young people and equip them with the knowledge and skills to become effective advocates for urban tree conservation and care.”

The program offers workshops, field trips and hands-on learning experiences tailored to engage and educate young participants. Through these activities, the Canopy Crusaders learn about the importance of trees in urban ecosystems, proper tree care techniques, and the many environmental benefits that trees provide.

“Through the program, our Youth Tree Ambassadors have the opportunity to attend tree planting events, learn about tree identification and pruning, and explore careers in tree care and urban forestry,” explains Larabiosa. “These experiences will empower them to really make a difference in their communities and help protect our planet for future generations.”

The Youth Tree Ambassador Program will also encourage participants to take on leadership roles in their schools and neighborhoods and to promote tree conservation and care among their peers and community members.

“By encouraging a sense of responsibility and accountability in our young Canopy Crusaders, we hope to inspire a lifelong commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability,” says Larabiosa.

Fort Worth Tree Services is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants in the Youth Tree Ambassador program and is adhering to strict COVID-19 guidelines for all workshops, field trips and hands-on learning experiences. These measures include social distancing, mandatory face coverings and often shared tools and equipment hygiene.

“We’re excited about the positive impact our Canopy Crusaders will have on their communities and the environment at large,” adds Larabiosa. “By cultivating a love of trees and nature in our youth, we can create a lasting legacy of environmental care for generations to come.”
