Bobcat completes renovation in Wisconsin

Bobcat Co. recently completed a $5.3 million renovation at its Johnson Creek, Wisconsin location. The Johnson Creek plant manufactures mowers, lawn and grounds care equipment.

Bobcat said the investment in the Johnson Creek facility has modernized the office and employee space with an open concept that includes multiple meeting and conference rooms, upgraded furniture and an upgraded employee break room. The site employs more than 375 people engaged in sales, human resources, strategic sourcing, design and test engineering, and manufacturing of some of the company’s turf and grounds care equipment products.

Davey works with greehill

Davey Resource Group (DRG), a subsidiary of The Davey Tree Expert Co. — No. 2 on the 2023 LM150 rankings – works with a Singapore-based business intelligence company Grehill.

Greehill develops 3D digital twins and automated analyzes of urban trees through a combination of high-resolution cameras, mobile laser scanning (MLS), terrestrial laser scanning (TLS), satellite imagery, and proprietary machine learning algorithms. The solution reduces the time and cost associated with a citywide tree inventory, making accurate insights accessible to cities of all sizes.

“This partnership with greehill is exciting because DRG can leverage this new urban forest technology to complete more urban forest projects in the United States and bring value to our customers,” said Josh Behounek, Business Development Manager at DRG. “Greehill’s solution helps drastically reduce the time it takes to collect urban forest data. This will allow us to conduct more tree inventories for more cities and use the data to carefully plan tree care and planting projects in our urban areas.”

FieldBin wins startup award

FieldBina provider of field service management software, received a Bronze Globee Award in the 18th Yearbook 2023 Globee Awards for Information Technology in the Startup Achievement of the Year category.

Tree Source acquires an Oregon-based tree nursery

American Lighting introduces the Custom Cut program

American lighting His was recently introduced Custom editing programDesigned to eliminate waste, save labor and ensure proper connections for linear lighting projects.

The company states that the program offers a range of linear lighting solutions, varying in lumen output, IP rating, CCT and color adaptability, among many other parameters, which can be fine-tuned to specification.

American Lighting has added four unique offerings to its new Custom Cut program, including:

  • Trulux band light. Available in a range of luminosities, IP ratings, cutting requirements and color offerings for indoor and outdoor applications.
  • hybrid 3. Available in 3,000K, 4,000K and 5,000K as well as RGB plus 3,000K and warm dim technology.
  • Neonflex Pro. Available in side-bend and top-bend versions. The company says Neonflex Pro can be ordered in 2,700K, 3,000K and 4,000K, as well as static red, green or blue and RGB plus 3,000K color changes.

Pursell and Marion Ag Service merge

Pursell Agri-Tech recently named Marion Ag Service entered into an agreement as a West Coast marketing partner to expand the availability of controlled release fertilizers in the western eleven states.

The agreement includes market exclusivity of PurKote controlled release fertilizers through Marion Ag agricultural distribution and blending services in the region. The two organizations have partnered to develop predictive release software called MASterGraph, which will help develop customized nutrient delivery schedules that improve crop, environmental and financial outcomes for lawn customers.

“For the past five years, Pursell has focused on developing our customer base east of the Mississippi where we recently opened manufacturing facilities in Savannah, Georgia and St. Thomas, Ontario (Canada),” Allen Sanders, CEO of Pursell Agricultural tech said. “As we look west, Marion Ag is the ideal partner to bring the significant market coverage and deep customer relationships required to successfully develop these markets.”

The marketing agreement begins in summer 2023, with Marion Ag offering a full range of Pursell products to its customers in Q3 2023.
