Antique Lawn & Tree Service was recognized as one of the newest members of the Panola County Chamber of Commerce Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception hosted by chamber ambassadors.

The company is owned and operated by Bayron and Yesica Suruy, who took on the honor of cutting the ribbon. Diana Garcia takes over part of the marketing tasks for the company and explained the range of services offered.

“We have over 10 years of experience and offer all types of landscaping work, such as tree felling, gardening and lawn mowing, land leveling, fence cleaning,” Garcia said.

Antique Lawn & Tree Service offers both residential and commercial landscaping services and has staff who speak both English and Spanish.

“We also provide lighting services for the holidays and offer free estimates,” she said. The company can be reached at (903) 692-8287.

“First and foremost, we want to thank all of our customers, friends and family for being with us all these years,” Garcia said.

The Suruys and their staff provided guests with a variety of refreshments including baked goods, fresh fruit and other goodies.

Bayron Suruy said the name Antique Lawn came from a town in his native Guatemala. The couple were joined at the event by family, co-workers and friends, and ambassadors from the Panola County Chamber of Commerce.
