There were plenty of standout performances last week in Central Mass. girls’ soccer action, so we rounded up a handful of the best for readers to vote on for the StormWorks Roofing & Restoration girls’ soccer player of the week.
Congratulations to Parker Charter’s Emma Petricca, who took the top spot in last week’s poll with 22,556 votes (50.2 percent) to edge Marlborough’s Ava VanBuskirk (17,913 votes) our of nearly 45,000 votes cast.

Follansbee had a hat trick as the host Gators blanked David Prouty.
Natalie Frazier, Auburn
Frazier poured in four goals for the host Rockets in a rout of Uxbridge before scoring a goal in a 5-0 win over Quaboag.
McKenna McGuire, Hudson
McGuire collected a hat trick to help the visiting Hawks top Notre Dame.
Madison McNamara, Shepherd Hill
McNamara netted a hat trick as the host Rams beat North Middlesex.
Emily Pitro, West Boylston
Pitro notched a hat trick while her older sister, Madison, also scored a goal as the host Lions (6-1, 6-1 Mid-Wach D) edged Narragansett, 5-4.
Kayla Schroeder, Bay Path
Schroeder scored three times to notch a hat trick to boost host Bay Path past Abby Kelley.
Ava VanBuskirk, Marlborough
VanBuskirk continues to score at a high clip as the Marlborough senior collected four goals and one assist to help the visiting Panthers defeated Groton-Dunstable.
