There were plenty of standout performances last week in Central Mass. boys’ soccer action, so we rounded up a handful of the best for readers to vote on for the StormWorks Roofing & Restoration boys’ soccer player of the week.
Congratulations to Oakmont’s Gael Vera (17,565 votes, 30.1 percent), who held off Millbury’s A.J. Gentile (14,918 votes, 26.1 percent) to win last week’s poll of over 57,000 votes.

Ben Clemens, Grafton
Clemens pitched in during a shutout win over Leicester before making four saves in his fifth shutout of the season, a 6-0 win over Bartlett.
A.J. Gentile, Millbury
Gentile continues to put up points as the Woolies player scored four goals to propel host Millbury past David Prouty before scoring the lone goal in a loss to Douglas.
Dan Gronek, Shepherd Hill
Gronek netted all four goals as the visiting Rams defeated Fitchburg, 4-0.
Jason Job, AMSA
Job did his job by scoring twice and adding an assist in the Eagles’ 7-1 win over Abby Kelley before handing in an assist in a 1-1 tie with Nipmuc.
Eltaher Kholeif, Lunenburg
Kholeif had two goals and an assist to boost the visiting Blue Knights over Clinton.
Jeremy Kim, Grafton
Kim scored twice in a victory over Leicester before netting a hat trick in a victory over Bartlett. Kim then scored two more times in a win over South.
Brendan Listzwan, Bromfield
Listzwan had four goals to power the host Trojans past Littleton, 5-1, prior to notching a hat trick in a 4-1 win over Nashoba.
Hunter McQuillan, Oxford
McQuillan recorded two goals and an assist to boost the host Pirates over Bartlett.
Saad Naseer, Westborough
Naseer set up Simon Bleier’s goal and scored the next two, all within the first seven minutes, as the host Rangers upended Minnechaug, 3-0.
Arthur Ribeiro, Ayer-Shirley
Ribiero had two goals and an assist for the visiting Panthers in a win over Narragansett.
Ricky Ruiz, Gardner
Ruiz scored four goals to help the host Wildcats top Quabbin.
Trent Szela, Bay Path
Szela scored three times to lift the host Minutemen over Parker Charter.
Gael Vera, Oakmont
Vera collected two assists in a 7-0 win over Tyngsborough before he racked up four goals and an assist to propel the host Spartans Wachusett.
