SoCo Roofing and Restoration treats first responders | Free Share

SoCo Roofing and Restoration is thanking first responders and city workers this spring with a series of lunches for them in Albertville, Boaz and Guntersville.

Bureau chief Lisa Engle said the first lunch was on Friday, April 21 at the Sand Mountain Park & ‚Äč‚ÄčAmphitheater when Albertville police personnel, firefighters, paramedics and city personnel were treated to lunch and freebies between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for chair massages from Salon Rebellious Roots.

“We’re always looking for ways to give back to the community,” Engle said of the companies. First responders are of course important to everyone at SoCo.

The next First Responders Luncheon will be on Friday, April 28 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Boaz Fire Station. The following Friday, SoCo will serve at the Guntersville Fire Station. The company has been providing lunches for years, Engle said, sending out flyers to let potential guests know about the events happening in their area, and promoting the event on Facebook.

She said that between 500 and 800 people had attended the three lunches in previous years and hoped for a good turnout this year.
