Giving back to the community is also an intergenerational value that Roes shares. “We offer two charity roofs each year to help a family or individual in dire need of a roof replacement,” smiles Jason. “We cover all the costs for them in the hope of reducing their financial burden a little.”

Roe Roofing has been locally owned and operated for 14 years. The company prides itself on providing quality roofing and siding products and services to Edmonton and the surrounding area. Today the family business is owned and managed by Jason Roe. He learned the trade from his father, who in turn learned it from Jason’s grandfather.

“Roe Roofing is proud to be one of Owens Corning’s top three contractors of choice in Western Canada. We’ve been installing Owens Corning roofs for three generations and we stand by the outstanding quality,” says Jason. He continues, “We always make sure to maintain a business mindset that drives a positive customer experience at every step of the journey. It is extremely important for us to run the business in such a way that customers feel special and valued and that they have chosen a reputable company that they can turn to for generations to come.”

Every member at Roe Roofing focuses on customer service.

“Our goal is to treat every customer as if they were family to us,” confirms Jason.

He acknowledges there have been some challenges over the years, including supply chain issues that affect all industries.

“Product availability and continually increasing material costs while labor costs remain the same can be challenging,” he says. “Faced with the economic downturn caused by COVID, customers tend to choose the cheaper product, which also comes with lower quality and can lead to common problems. A better practice is to research the company you are hiring and the products they recommend before undertaking any home renovations.”

Roe Roofing only installs the best products to ensure the long-term viability of the installation or repair.

Jason emphasizes, “We would highly recommend Owens Corning as it is a premium product in its price range. We have been installing Owens Corning for three generations and have never had a single warranty issue. We stand firmly behind the high quality that Owens offers.”

Giving back to the community is also an intergenerational value that Roes shares.

“We offer two charity roofs each year to help a family or individual in dire need of a roof replacement,” smiles Jason. “We cover all the costs for them in the hope of reducing their financial burden a little.”

Roe Roofing also donates fuel cards to Stolleny Children’s Hospital each year (Stolleny gives these to families who have to travel in and out of town for care). Roe Roofing also donates to the St Albert Food Bank and other local charities.

As a small local family business, Jason has worked hard throughout his career to get to the point where he can give back to the community. Reaching the point in his career where he can, among other things, donate two free roofs is a proud mark that Jason considers a true milestone in his career.

“I would like to say a big thank you to our employees and team members who help make every season a success. I also thank the companies we work with directly throughout the year. Thank you Monarch Siding and Roofing Center for your immense support and thank you Owens Corning for your amazing product quality and support over the years,” concludes Jason.

The importance of a quality roof and a secure building envelope cannot be underestimated. To find out more or connect with a company that values your time and budget without compromising on quality, visit Roe Roofing in person, online or on Facebook and Instagram.
