Packers’ AJ Dillon joins parade, ‘roofing of the goats’ in Door County

AJ Dillon has made no secret of his love for Door County. He’s been given the key to the county, made it his second home, and even got married there last June.

But what he did on Saturday is another measure of Door County love from the Packers running back.

One of Door County’s many landmarks is Al Johnson’s, a Swedish restaurant in Sister Bay where goats graze on its grass roof in the summer.

And every year, Al Johnson’s celebrates with the Goat Fest, an all-day goat festival that includes a goat parade and benefit concert. The day was crowned with the roofing of the goats.

So you’ll never guess which Door County local showed up to the party.

AJ Dillon actually walked one of the goats in the parade. Of course, he documented the event on his Twitter feed, Instagram story and TikTok account.

But the Mayor of Door County wasn’t done yet. To wrap up the celebrations, he jumped onto the grass roof of Al Johnson’s and chanted “Go Pack Go” to the crowd.

What’s more Wisconsin than that?
