OSHA has proposed $306,229 in penalties to Brothers Construction Services Inc. and issued citations alleging eight willful, repeat, serious, and other-than-serious violations for allegedly exposing workers to falls of up to 20 feet at a residential work site in Boston, the Labor Department said Wednesday.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspectors allegedly observed inadequate fall protection, scaffolds, ladders, training, safety inspections, and personal protective equipment, according to the DOL.

The company has 15 business days from receipt of its citations and penalties to comply, request an informal conference with OSHA’s area director, or contest the findings.
