The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Dec. 18 – Jan. 14. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn’t visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Friday this week.
Please respect the integrity of the ballot. Restrict your voting to once an hour.

Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete’s accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.
Here are this week’s nominees:
Lauren Bell, Viera basketball
Bell recorded 20 points twice during the break, scored 28 against Tampa Prep with 10 rebounds and 26 points with 11 rebounds against Melbourne.
Phillayjah Carroll, Space Coast basketball
Carroll scored 18 points and added six steals and six assists in a game against New Smyrna Beach and nine against Astronaut in the CCC tournament.
Trishay Collins, Heritage basketball
Collins finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in win over Satellite last Wednesday and scored eight points in the Panthers’ CCC win over Bayside.
Tiernan Mead, Cocoa Beach soccer
The goalkeeper scored two goals for the Minutemen in a Cocoa Beach win over Cocoa last Thursday.
Kaden Barrial, Merritt Island wrestling
Barrial pinned his opponents from South Fork and Heritage in regional duals wrestling. He won at the 126-pound weight class to help send the Mustangs to the state dual tournament.
Alayna Lherisse, Eau Gallie basketball
Lherisse scored 21 points in Eau Gallie’s win over Satellite in the CCC tournament. She also reached 1,000 career points in the game.
Olivia Samuels, Rockledge soccer
In three games last week, Samuels scored five goals, with one goal against Satellite, one goal against Titusville, and three goals against Heritage.
Kiara Williams, Palm Bay basketball
Williams had 16 points and 17 rebounds against St. Thomas Aquinas, 15 points and 14 rebounds against Campbell and, in two other games, 16 and 18 points.
