The following athletes were nominated for their performances from April 8-13. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn’t visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.
Please respect the integrity of the ballot. Restrict your voting to once an hour.

Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete’s accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.
Here are this week’s nominees:
Kyle Fischer, Viera lacrosse
In the boys District 8-2A semifinals, Fischer had seven goals and three assists for the Hawks.
Will Kerschensteiner, Melbourne rowing
Kerschensteiner won the FSRA boys lightweight single title by 13 seconds at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, the first state title for the team.
Gabriel Norman, Rockledge baseball
Norman pitched 5 1/2 innings in the Cape Coast Conference title game at Viera, striking out 10 in a 4-0 win.
Cayden Platt, Bayside softball
Platt recorded two runs, a hit and three RBIs in a win against Port. St Lucie and two runs, two hits and three RBIs in a win over Astronaut.
Caden Simcox, MCC baseball
Simcox struck out five and allowed just one run in a win over Eau Gallie. In three game combined, he hit .400, drove in three runs and stole three bases.
Carys Steckler, Melbourne lacrosse
Steckler finished with eights goals and three assists in the District 8-2A quarterfinal round.
Frederic Tu, Holy Trinity tennis
Tu won his No. 1 singles match and teamed with Ryder Collins to win at No. 1 doubles on Tuesday at fellow unbeaten Satellite and Wednesday against Edgewood.
