OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – A Marion County man has been jailed for accepting money for a construction contract and not completing it.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested 47-year-old James Johns Thursday after months of investigation. In October, the victims signed a deal with Freaky Fast Construction LLC for a roof replacement.

They posted $3,500 bail to Johns. Johns informed them that the total cost of the roof replacement would be $5,700.
