Robeson Community College will host a basic plumbing information session this Thursday, Feb. 1 at the Maxton Learning Academy in Maxton. The information session will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The information session is free and is open to the public, giving prospective students a better understanding of the course and the foundational principles that will be covered. Registration packets will be available onsite.
“We are continuing to seek ways to increase access to education and short-term training to our residents in Maxton and other parts of the county,” stated Eric Freeman, the executive vice president of RCC in a press release. “This upcoming class in basic plumbing is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable skills in a trade that is greatly needed in our region. Every homeowner and every business has experienced plumbing issues at some point, so plumbing will always be an occupation that is in high demand.”
