A hands-on ‘Plumbing for Ladies’ course in Raphoe has booked out within hours following a flood of interest.
Raphoe Family Resource Centre has confirmed demand was high for the training and all places were filled as soon as it was advertised.
An introduction to everyday plumbing issues with practical hands-on demonstrations and learning will be held in conjunction with Rapid Plumbing Inishowen. The six-week week course starts on Thursday, March 14.
Now that the women of Donegal have shown such great interest in the trade, maybe another community group or organisation will host a similar initiative.
