A Philomath-based company was among those chosen recently as a Jobber Grants program recipient, the organization announced.

Chase Plumbing, owned by Chase and Katy Creason, received a “Smooth Operators” award.

Jobber provides operations management software for home service businesses. Twenty-five grant recipients were announced in all earlier this month from among thousands that applied. Awards ranged from $5,000 to $15,000.

“Jobber is proud to recognize and support these outstanding entrepreneurs who stand out in their home service industries while making a positive impact on the neighborhoods around them,” Sam Pillar, chief executive officer and co-founder of Jobber said through a press release. “The dedication, innovation and hard work that defines the home service community is truly inspiring. We’re honored to be a part of the stories of this year’s recipients.”

The 2023 top grant of $15,000 was given to Mykaell Bratchett, owner of Messy Lawns in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
