The company said Lombard Odier Asset Management Europe had acquired 900,000 shares in an off-venue transaction on July 4.
12p was paid for each share, giving a total purchase value of £108,000.
Science in Sport described Lombard Odier Europe as “closely linked” to its non-executive director Henry Turcan.
Things were on the sell side Victorian plumbingafter its CEO disposed of 185,000 shares in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
The company said Philip Bowcock sold the shares for 71.3p, valuing the transaction at £131.905.
“These common shares were sold to enable Philip Bowcock to settle his tax and National Insurance liabilities incurred on June 22 because some of his shares were freed from restrictions under his restricted share allocations,” the board said in its statement.
“Following this transaction, Philip Bowcock will hold 1,259,718 common shares, representing approximately 0.39% of the Company’s issued share capital.”
At 1551 BST, shares in Victorian Plumbing Group were up 0.14% to 71.7p, while shares in Science in Sport were up 0.79% to 14.11p.
