B&J Plumbing and Heating has been a family business since 1961. Founded by brothers William “Bill” and Jim Lock, the company is now run by Bill’s sons Rod and Rick.
Rick has operated the original Sterling office, which has been on Second Street since 1973. Rod has operated the Granby business, which has served Grand County since 1984.
B&J Plumbing and Heating employs 11 people between the Sterling and Granby stores. Some employees have been with B&J for over two decades.
